A little about me

I have created this blog for my English Intro to Academic Writing Class, hence the title of the Blog.  I am 36 year old Alaskan Native, born in Fairbanks, and raised on the Yukon River in Fort Yukon, Alaska.  I have lived a few places in Alaska(Fort Yukon, Galena, Aniak, Porcupine River Lodge, Fairbanks, and currently North Pole), but will always consider my home the wilderness around Fort Yukon. I am a certified personal trainer, and have been doing all the Fitness Assessments on Eielson AFB for 2 years now.  I really don't like writing and am anxious (not to be confused with eager) to see how this class turns out.
